Cooking Passion

My passion for cooking Lebanese vegan food is a journey into the rich heritage of Middle Eastern flavours, where fresh vegetables, grains, and aromatic spices come together in dishes that are as nourishing as they are vibrant. From creamy hummus to tangy fattoush, each recipe offers a delightful complexity that makes plant-based ingredients truly shine. I enjoy exploring traditional recipes, crafting dishes that are healthy and flavourful and sharing this passion, that showcase how satisfying and diverse Lebanese vegan food can be.

Authentic Lebanese vegan cuisine is a celebration of fresh, wholesome ingredients and bold flavours that reflect the traditions of the Middle East.

Central to the cuisine are ingredients like olive oil, lemon, garlic, chickpeas, lentils, and a variety of vegetables and grains, each infused with spices like cumin, sumac, and za'atar. Staple dishes include mezze such as tabbouleh, with its finely chopped parsley, and tomatoes; Baba ghanouge, a smoky eggplant dip; Mujadara a simple yet incredibly flavourful Lebanese dish made with lentils, rice, and caramelized onions; Falafel made from a mixture of chickpeas and broad beans with a blend of spices like cumin, and coriander, and many more.

Each dish is crafted to create layers of texture and taste, balancing freshness and earthiness. Authentic Lebanese vegan cooking not only satisfies the palate but also embodies a rich cultural heritage, emphasizing simplicity and the nourishing power of nature’s bounty.
